HELP US SPREAD THE GOSPEL ACROSS NORTH AMERICA
Thank you for supporting North American Mission Board ministries and helping mobilize Southern Baptists throughout the United States and Canada as we share the gospel of Christ through evangelism and church planting.
Every penny you give the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® supports missionaries as they share the gospel across North America. We encourage you to give through your local church but also offer online giving for your convenience.
Contribute to the Appalachian Regional Ministries of the North American Mission Board.
NAMB partners with local Southern Baptist churches, associations and state conventions to facilitate the proclamation of the gospel through the endorsement process of SBC ministers as chaplains and counselors in ministry. As an extension of the local church, chaplains perform the roles of pastor, teacher, evangelist, counselor, and administrator as they represent the church and the denomination from "inside" the using agency.
The North American Mission Board, along with state Baptist convention leaders, has taken the lead in organizing Southern Baptists to respond to disasters. They contribute manpower, ministry, and financial help during floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, and urban disasters. NAMB uses Disaster Relief donations for meeting human needs as a priority and of sharing the gospel and/or starting churches as part of NAMB's overall disaster relief ministry once these priorities are met.
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams are currently responding to bring help, healing and hope to devastated families and communities across North America. This includes a long-term recovery project in New York (Sandy). If you would like your donation to support a specific response, please indicate the response in the comments box on the donations form. (Example: "MS Tornadoes"; "Sandy Rebuild")
Send North America is NAMB's strategy for moving churches and individuals into all regions of North America to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and start new churches. This evangelistic church planting strategy is designed to Discover churches, church planters and other missionaries to penetrate lostness and connect un-churched people with a local congregation; Develop church planters and sending churches for evangelistic church planting; and Deploy churches within defined regions, people groups and large population centers (cities).
With more than 70 percent of Southern Baptist churches in North America plateaued or declining in number, NAMB's Send North America strategy is designed to reverse this trend by decreasing the death rate of existing churches (Revitalization) while increasing the birth rate of new churches.
This fund is used to assist missionaries and their families during times of personal crisis, specifically those experiencing emergency needs. The administration of the fund, including all disbursements, is subject to the exclusive control and discretion of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). All distributions will be made by NAMB leadership on the basis of assessed needs and available funds in compliance with applicable NAMB policies and procedures.
Reach the cities and you will reach the world. Cities are places of tremendous influence, and they are also difficult places to minister. Urban Ministry, through such avenues as church planting, after-school care, refugee ministry, sports outreach and much more, impacts lives and transforms communities through the power of the gospel.
The North American Mission Board’s Hunger Ministry assists churches, associations, and state conventions, so that in the process of distributing food, the gospel can be shared with people in need. NAMB uses hunger donations for purposes of sharing the gospel and/or starting churches as part of NAMB's overall hunger relief ministry.
